So...we always thought the car looked like it was leaning to the left. I got the tape measure out and sure enough, the left side is 1 inch lower from ground to wheel arch than the right side on both wheels!
What the hell?
First 3mnth inspection is booked in a fortnight so we'll get them to take a look.
I checked that all the wheel pressures were the same to make sure they weren't flatter on the left side.
Anyone else had this on their Everest?
Could it be because we have a full fuel tank? Or because Thailand?

Ford took measurements and sent them off to Ford Aus...apparently.

I noted the same with my Everest.I measured from the top of the rim to the guard and there was a 20mm difference. The passenger side was lower than the drivers. I measured from the top of the rim to eliminate any difference in tyre pressure. Now have it booked in to Ford next week for measurement. Redeye

At next service I got them to measure it again as I told them it was sitting on the left bumpstop. This prompted them to measure & report to Ford again and raise an EDSR or whatever it's called.
Basically everyone of us needs to flag it in order to push the Ford engineers to spend time re-designing the suspension system so a replacement spring or whatever else can be made for our vehicles to be swapped over for free as a 'design fault'

I have had a similar problem with one side of car 1.7 centimeters lower when hitched up with my 2.6 tonne caravan.

Has anyone had this problem fixed? I too have this problem with my Everest. I have had the rear left spring changed and it has made no difference to the sagging. I have had the suspension recheck by Ford and they have told me that it’s within specification. I requested to see the specifications only to be told it is a confidential document. My car is booked in for a reassessment will let you know of the outcome.

Same issue here. Have a case manager at Ford 'managing' it. Was told the vehicle being 17mm out left to right is in specs.

It is due to the location of the fuel tank. Ours does it as well and is at worst with a full tank.

It is due to the location of the fuel tank. Ours does it as well and is at worst with a full tank. Has absolutely nothing to do with the fuel tank, the side to side variation as per the workshop manual suggests allowable of +/- 8mm, and the left side lean is due to incorrect positioning of the LHS front strut tower. It was a chassis / production line issue, subsequently rectified with the UA2 chassis.

Sorry, I don't have Facebook. Has anyone had this successfully rectified by Ford? How did you manage this?
