Just wondering if anyone has found a lift kit that works and is reliable and quiet (no squeaks or rattles) in my area I have shop that fit Ironman, pedders, ome, or tjm. My issue is mine will be the first Everest they have done, so they are keen to sell but can’t tell me what the results will be and I’m not too keen on paying close to $2k to be a guinea pig. Currently my Everest has a steel ARB summit bar and is the family car so no heavy loads but we have 40km of bad dirt road every time we go to town. So was looking for aftermarket suspension to smooth the trip out a bit. Cheers Brad

There are so many options available but it seems to come down to what a particular workshop is comfortable to supply and fit. Cheers

Thanks for the reply I have Bilstein in my Hilux which has been great for 50,000km and still works like new. Trying to avoid going back to my local ARB dealer, I installed a Summit Bar on my Everest and hit a kangaroo which caused the bar to pivot on the mounts and smash the bonnet with the accessories tabs which sit far too close to the bonnet. The new replacement bar moves so much on corrugated roads that it hits the bumper and corner panels, the front sensors go off as soon as the car moves unless I have them push a couple of mm out of the bar and I’ve had to glue my fog lamps in place as they rattle out of the crappy housing they are clipped into. The arb shop brushed the issues off as an Everest/Ranger issue and handed me a quote for $1950 for old man emu suspension. Thanks again

Thanks again I similarly was not convinced the ARB suspension offering was value for money. The Bilstein / Koni tier 1 quality was what I wanted. I did look at Dobinsons but they seemed more focused on remote reservoir etc than the fundamentals. Time will prove my assessment correct or otherwise.

I have decided to go with Outback Armour they were very helpful and answered all my questions and competitively priced, so I will be having it installed in the first week of April. I will do a bit of a review once it’s in.

I lifted mine 2inches Now it has developed a rotating squeaking noise on the left side front. Has anyone else had this problem.
