Hi all, New to this forum, After some advice, I recently have had an ironman bullbar fitted (by ford) to my 2017 everest. I have had nothing but trouble with the front parking sensors. Certain sensors will go off without anything being in front of me. Every time i stop at an intersection BEEP,BEEP,BEEP but nothing there. Its been back to ford 6 times now but still not fixed. They are now talking about replacing all sensors. Has anyone got any ideas how to fix this problem as it is driving me MAD.
Thanks in advance.

i was talking an ironman agent about sensors. was your sensors painted over to match colour? and did the sensors have the rubber/plastic around it? i was told that if the sensor is on metal without plastic/rubber it will be more sensitive. another reason im just holding off on a bar until i can confirm what works with the titanium

Parking sensor performance in my Ford bull bar has been pretty good over the last 18 months. They tend to go off when entering some steep dips and occasionally when they become caked up with dead bugs.

I have the same problem my installer couldn’t get the sensors to work going back there Monday not the installers fault followed ironmans instructions so he is going to take it to Ironman and get them to fix it going to take 2 days apparently.

The problem was the sensors from the old bar (ford factory) are bigger than the the standard sensors on the factory bumper and the Ironman sensors are based on the factory bumper $450 later not happy.

I had an XRox bar fitted and they had to extend the connection slightly but other than that all sensors working perfectly including adaptive cruise.

Got it sorted.....after arriving at solution playing around. Behind bullbar tab brackets that hold in sensors were loose causing the sensors to drop. Recentered and Tighted all brackets screws, but this made the problem worse. Problem was if too loose they vibrate out, but if too tight will put too much pressure on internal components and cause them to false trigger.
Solution was to recenter sensor to hole, finger tight up brackets, then just slight pressure with spanner to hold nuts. Then loktite everything in position so cant vibrate loose. Very fiddly job, but working ok so far.

I have recently had an ECB bullbar fitted to my Ford Everest and now have the front sensor playing up whenever the car is starting off or at speeds under 10kms/hour. Unfortunately we are travelling interstate and cant return car to installer for 4 months.

Same problem with a 2017 Ford Ranger with an Irvin alloy bar fitted . The sensors now hate rain and come on every time you stop in traffic.
Thanks

I had the problem when arb bullbar was fitted in 2017 so i took it back and they fixed it no questions asked. The centre two sensors cant go straight into bar, you have to use the original factory surrounds as well.
