G'day folks, new here and browsing the market for an Everest. tossing up the value differences between Ambiente and Trend. Obviously for similar money can get a younger or lower milage Ambiente. Next issue will be where to service the vehicle, as I've heard some horror stories. I'll post a question about this in another area.

ive got a 2018 trend so my bias is for a trend.
But I am loving the Sync 3 system.
not sure how it compares to the older Sync 2 system present in everests up until about early-mid 2017 i think.
If thats any help to you when determining between newer ambiente vs older trend.
cheers

I have a Trend absolutely love it chose that because of the extra features compared to the ambiente for only a little bit more in price, the price for the titanium is much more than the trend love my everest best car i have ever owned.

We test drove both MY 15 Ambiente's & Trends when deciding what to buy - At the time the Trend was much better, both in interior (Syn 2 Screen, Safety/entertainment features etc) as well as handling due to the 18" wheels in our view much reducing body roll during on-road driving. We ended up with the Trend, despite the considerably higher price tag.
I think they've fixed most of the interior differences now, and the tyre size difference is cheaply enough resolved i guess.
If you were buying new though i'd still go Trend - only because they've (finally) upgraded the headlights to something decent - unlike the piss poor efforts the Ambiente is )i think) still stuck with.
