Took my 2015 Everest with those codes to the Ford dealer and they replaced the AdBlue pot heater and level sensor for free under a campaign covering AU and NZ.

Hi I have the same code in my 2015 Everest. I’ve been quoted $1500 to replace the heater by metro Ford brisbane. How did you get the dealer to cover it?

i have the exact same codes on my 2016 everest and i spoke with our local ford dealer and they said there is a extended warranty/replacement on the adblue heater pot ad level sensor if thats all it is after full diagnostics....id be calling a few ford service centres in your area for a second opinion or giving the original ones a spray

Hi, I have a 2015 Everest bought new in 2017. Shortly after the free 2000km service it has had a constant intermittent warning message alternating on the display (with the orange wrench icon) stating "Check 4x4" and "Check locking differential"! The vehicle drives ok but the warning comes and goes intermittently even though it has been to the local Ford dealer for its scheduled services! The dealer doesn't appear to have a clue what to troubleshoot and it will be going in again for the scheduled 30,000km service on 1-Jun-23. Any help out there to help me rectify this fault will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, that is very likely to relate to a fault in the transfer case electric clutch coil. Had the same issue. If you are a diy type, chase the schematics for the electric clutch in the transfer case and measure the coil resistance. Mine was all over the place. Ok sometimes but open circuit when those error codes came up consistently.
