Has anyone invested in Long Range Fuel Tank for the Ford Everest Trend yet, would like a touring Range more like 950 km not 600 km , upgrade the existing 80 ltr tank to 125ltr? or Has anyone been carrying fuel on a big trip, Jerry cans on roof or custom rear bars yet

Im waiting on ARB frontier tanks. As much as I like LRA and brown davis products, Im not fancying the extra weight from the ex range tanks because they are made from alluminised steel

I'm very disappointed with the mid point ground clearance on the standard suspension with the Everest, l'll be looking into the long Range tank option sooner than later

Have you had the tank installed? What is the clearance loss?

LRA 120ltr tank you lose 6mm clearance but i guess if you went 2" lift its still better than nothing. I was hoping BD tanks wouldnt lose any clearance at all. worst case make a tank where the spare wheel sits

After some members opinions for the Everest regarding Long Range Tanks 2 x Questions -What would be the ultimate size Long Range Tank? -How much ground clearance would you be happy to sacrifice?

I spoke with Ford tech department here in Brisbane and they told me it is not possible to recalibrate DTE. Judging from previous post it obviously is. What the go here? Can anyone tell me what's involved in recalibration? I'm planning to get BD replacement tank.

There are a few people on this forum who have had their DTE recalibrated using forscan the ford people talk out of there behinds they don’t know much about their cars they sell.
