Just got back from a week and a half trip to the limestone coast in SA. 1400kms averaged 14L/100km towing a 14.5' Jayco Expanda. Way better than the Navara! Very pleased with that but not the amount of pin striping I now have! I barely get that as my daily drive :-(

School run. Might be heading to Bribie on the weekend for its first 4wd adventure. Just over 3000km from new 4 weeks ago. Next trip is the Simpson Desert....

How your roof rack going? Happy? Been off road with it? Hey mate, yeah I love it. Have had rhino in the past, I would say the finish is better with these. Accessories seem better put together and engineered also. Yes, plenty of off-road, plenty of rough roads and it never moved a mm. Love it. Also, easy to remove solo for when it's not required for months at a time..

I’m very happy with the Whispbar bit still can’t get one bar off.

Had some more progress with my false floor setup today, everything is shaped up nicely, just need to mount battery box and finish some 12V work before I can put fridge slide in permanently, pics to follow. Some snaps of the progress so far, 1. 30 amp auto circuit breaker mounted to fuse box to protect cable run to the rear, (6B&S), zero voltage drop on the 5m run. 2. CTEKD250S powering my Fullriver AGM DC85/12 3. Waeco CF50 mounted to base board for trial run, board only secured by strap that anchors around the rear seat bases, will hit some State Forests and check for movement. 4. 12V accessory ports via fuse block to go, then if all is ok mounting wise, ill carpet and bolt slide in. Cheers

Cheers Mate I’ve removed the rear seven seats and built a whole new floor with a 190 amp hour battery laid on its side which fits perfectly under the fridge slide . I can tell you how to do it if your interested I do t have social media but flick me a msg 0477855780 if your interested my Everest is pretty custom , 3inch lift , rhino bar rock sliders , rims , 35 inch tyres full exhaust , running around 650-700 nm torque and about 185kw.. there’s not much info on these cars I replaced front mount I tercooler but can’t remove stock cooler if you get stuck I’ve pretty much done everything and can tell you how it goes .. if post some pics but I’m not a member and only glance at the old inter web occasionally

I had some 275/65/18s (up from stock 265/60/18) General Grabber AT2s fitted in LT construction with outline white letters. Diameter increase from 775mm to 816mm. Looks sexy! Hi Mate, I know this is now very old however I am looking at going to 275/65/18s on my 2016 trend and worried that without a lift I may get wheel rub if the suspension is stressed or the tire is rotated fully. Curious to know if you had to do any mods to accommodate the tires? Thanks, Chris
