Had my 3000km free service/Inspection today Report card came back all good I would really appreciate some consensus on AdBlue explained by dealers I'm curious how many of you new buyers had your Dealer fully explain adblue? It's such a new, but very important feature. I'm curious as to how well it is being explained to you, if the Ford staff/salesman/Manager told you not to worry about AdBlue as it will be all sorted out by Ford as part of your service at the required intervals. Just a note Ford didn't check my AdBlue today at my 3000km service I went to 9 servo's around Hastings and Frankston today nobody know anything about AdBlue, one servo in Hastings had a pump but it was out of service, resorted to phoning another Ford dealer to asked where Ford Everest buyers can fill AdBlue by the pump Thankfully BP on Peninsula link have AdBlue at the pump I had to squeezing the trigger only partially to keep the flow rate lower, magnetic collar attached to the pump hose Happy that the AdBlue only required 1.05 ltrs. @ 0.99c for 3250km Should get 15-20,000km per tank but Ive been warned if towing heavy caravan AdBlue consumption could be high only 6-10,000km per tank.

We took a stray dog down to the vet yesterday morning, we looked after her overnight , thankfully the old brown lab had a micro chip , the owners where contacted ,we received a phone call thanking us they also left a box of chocolates and a bottle of wine at the front door, a lot more room in the back , easier to load and unload than the 100 series with 4 inch 35 " muddies, wife is happy I'm installing bonnet protector and Weather shield today,

Installation of bonnet protector really happy with the fit and refitted Weather shield they fit a lot better now , I made the mistake of installing them by using the top edge of the door but really needed to be 10-15mm down from the top of the door , happier with the fit Towed the trailer around and pick up some more free fire wood, really happy with the height and towing with the Everest

So not so much what I did 'today', but over Easter. In the space of a week the Trend went from standard to having the bullbar, protection side steps, BFG's and roof racks added. Took it to Bendleby Ranges 4WD park and got the little treasure dirty! (although in the pic, the side step bars are on, but they didn't have the actual step back from the powder coasters) My first 4WD experience.. .. I'm pretty sure the tech in the car did all the work for me. Didn't find anything that I struggled with.
