Hi Have just recently purchased a set of Ironman recovery points for my 2018 Everest. Wasnt until closer inspection that i found that there were 2 holes on the chasis rail that were missing as per the instructions. After contacting the dealer who contacted ironman, it was found that the while the points i had suited the everest up until 2017 (as they had the holes as part of the factory design). Apparently Ironman have not designed a 2018 bracket yet but informed that the old style bracket will fit after holes are drilled like the pre 2018 ev's and rangers. Im a bit dubious to have holes drilled in the chassis rail for warranty, insurance purposes but the supplier informed me that it is common practise. Thoughts?

No that is not common practice, and no don't drill into the chassis They don't fit your vehicle your entitled to a refund

I am not sure about the everest recovery points but i have fitted ARB rear towbar/steps before and its the same deal. You have to drill 2 holes in chassis to bolt them on. Its a pretty easy job and is the recomended fitting method by a couple of different brands so dont see it being an issue
