Hi all
ji have a MY 19 bi turbo and new to site 2500 km new Everest. I am ust wondering if anyone can tell me if I may have wound my drive shaft by accidentally leaving it sand mode over the last 2 days? I think I knocked it with my knee and only noticed it this morning when I felt it stay on a higher gear on a downhill. I am certain I hit 100 km per yesterday too....I did not pick it up. Should I take it to Ford? Mind you I have driven it in nor mal top day and no problem but not sure if I am sensitive to the gear changes now, but t did go up to gear9 no problems.
Thank heaps all for your responses

I wouldn't worry too much. Just different trans driving mode, might have worked it a little harder thats all. What does the manual say about this? I got one too, but haven't read much so far. Good bi turbo hey, very fuel efficient.

Hi Tapatalk,
Thanks for the reply. I am noticing that the gears stay locked in though more than normal now but I think its juts me over reacting.
The Bi-Turbo is amazing. I am quite shocked how good its performance is, its outstanding! So you can imagine how I felt when I saw the system was switched to sand mode. I had a Nissan Pathfinder before and I know that you were not allowed to drive on flat surfaces on a low range due to winding.
Thank heaps mate! Like your car. I have the Silver version. Smooth as silk to drive.
