Has anyone dealt with dealer pushing back delivery date before? The contract i signed was for delivery date end of FEB. they said Ford has given them a build completion date of end of FEB so their delivery date has been pushed back by to end of MAR to early APR due to shipping. now if i had left the contract early they would sue or forced me to buy, if they dont delivery by the due date what happens to them?? should i just walk away and find another dealership to match the price a can guarantee a delivey date or renegotiate the contract for same price with other extras included with new delivery date? i have read online that some people were able to get courtesy vehicle for 2-3 weeks but my wait is at least 6 weeks. This is for a MY17 Titanium which i ordered in OCT16. i really thinking about walking away and looking somewhere else what are my options???

Just interested in how you are going with the issue of dealer date are you waiting or did you go to another dealer

I've changed my sig to indicate the revised date they said it should arrive in melbourne docks on 20MAR17 however wont provide me with VIN number or ship name so i can track. I found another titanium on carsales.com.au and got the dealer to price match however they said they dont know how my current dealer manage to get such a low price. unfortunately I could only get them to come to the table at the cost of an extra $900 with the same setup. i went through a broker so all party involve has something to lose if they dont deliver. i waiting til the 20th, if i dont get any positive date im pulling the plug and going with another dealer. might pay $900 more but very disappointed at the dealership for not keeping in the loop with information. hard to work around jobs not having a car :/
